June 13, 14, 15, 16, 2011 Train trip to Yosemite. Sorry but the trip is full with 20 people; 10 are painters.  WE HAD A WONDERFUL TRIP AND PLAN TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER FOR THE FALL OF 2012.

We will leave from Santa Rosa by bus to Martinez and ride the train to Yosemite (with a few miles on a transportation bus). It is a relaxing and interesting trip traveling through the valley to our destination of yosemite.

This trip is designed for artists, photographers, spouses or anyone who loves the valley of Yosemite. During our stay there will be scheduled times for the artists to paint with Donna as your escort.  She will teach painting with demonstrations at special places in the valley.  She has organized many trips in the past and has been an artist in residence several times at yosemite. There will be lots of free time to spend with friends. No hiking-Easy walking.

  The trip is mostly all inclusive.  Included:  All transportation, cancellation insurance, escorted by an agent, lodging at yosemite lodge, gourmet lunch at the Ahwahnee lodge, art instruction, shuttles, and in 2012 there will be some special additions, so contact Donna about getting on the list right away as space is limited. The cost of the trip in 2011 was $870.00 double occupancy room. single suppliment add $375, there may be some changes due to new additions to the trip.  Keep posted!

Donna puts together special adventures for non-artists and artists. They take Amtrak from Martinez Caifornia to Yosemite, with pick ups in Sonoma County.

"One of my most memorable trips was a moonlite evening in an open air tram tour of the vally.  We drove by waterfalls, and the moonlit granite rocks within the valley floor and hills of Yosemite was a stunning sight.
