First class is February 27th @ 6:30 pm-This five plus meeting series will begin with a studio class at the Junior College with additional outings on location These five meetings with first studio informational workhop and additional outings at various venues to sketch musicians and people in their environment. We will go to Blues/Jazz clubs, coffee shops, symphony. Some drawing experience is helpful as there are times you will sketch on your own. I have found students who do the lessons improve with practice. Learn tips and quick sketching with watercolor techniques as well. "CAPTURE MOVEMENT AND RHYTHM IN YOUR PAINTINGS" Saturday, April 28th @ 10-3:30 pm. Choose to work in any medium of your choice. You will learn to be aware of creating movement in a variety of subjects while paintings. Have fun experimenting with a variety of subjects and learn how movement enhances a paintings interest. "PAINT IMPRESSIONISTIC GARDENS WITH OIL OR ACRYLIC"
Saturday, May 19th, 9:30-4:00 pm. We will meet at the junior college studio for a morning of painting exercises and short video. The afternoon will be spent painting in the lovely gardens at the junior college. Demonstrations and instruction will be given by instructor. $87.00. See JC registration informaiton above.
